A small delegation of Norwegian CNCC company members attended The Colombian Investment Summit that was held in the city of Bogotá.
On October 28th-31st last year, CNCC Managing President organised a small delegation of Norwegian companies; RecMan AS, Cambi Group AS , Dotcom AS , and Crescent Management/TeamTech AS to attend The Colombian Investment Summit (29th-30th). The event was organised by ProColombia and held in the city of Bogotá.
It was the first time a Colombian President opened the event. In addition to the current president, we were also honored by the presence and interventions of Colombian Ministers of Transport, Commerce/Tourism, Agriculture, ICT, and so forth, as well as the participation) from distinguished CEOs such as CEO of Nestle Colombia, Santander Bank etc. There, delegates experienced the ideal scenario to learn about Colombia’s business current affairs and sector plans for the coming years. The academic agenda was closed by Colombian Vice President.
The second day of the event focused on pre-organised matchmaking meetings where delegates concentrated on meeting potential stakeholders. During the Investment Matchmaking, RecMan got the opportunity to have short meetings with many potential stakeholders to the project in the same arena. While in Colombia, the delegation was received by Norwegian Ambassador H.E John Petter Opdahl at the Norwegian Embassy in Bogotá, and visited other bilateral projects such a Bictia.
