Aquaculture Cooperation Seminar between Norway and Colombia

CNCC, and its strategic partners Norad, Pharmaq/Zoetis, Caritas, and Piscícola Botero, held their first webinar and third bilateral cooperation aquaculture event in collaboration with the Colombian Embassy in Oslo, the Norwegian Embassy in Bogotá, ProColombia, Innovation Norway, Colombia Productiva, and Norec (Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation).

On the third of December, CNCC and its strategic partners Norad, Pharmaq/Zoetis, Caritas, and Piscícola Botero, held their first webinar and third bilateral cooperation aquaculture event in collaboration with the Colombian Embassy in Oslo, the Norwegian Embassy in Bogotá, ProColombia and Colombia Productiva (both Colombian agencies under the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Tourism), Innovation Norway, and Norec (Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation).

The event was moderated by CNCC Board Member, Knut Andreas Lid and Managing President, Alejandra Neira, where they introduced the strategic partner’s project “Improving Productivity and Sustainability in the Tilapia Value Chain”, highlighted the efforts from both governments and institutions in the development of the aquaculture sector in Colombia, as well as the current Norwegian and Colombian initiatives enabling and empowering bilateral cooperation.
